Experimenting, implementing, scaling up and – sometimes – phasing out Educational Technology (EdTech) is often a complex process. Successfully implementing and using EdTech tools requires time, money, human resources and collaboration. Every educational institution is different, of course, and what works well for one may prove to be very different for another. But by sharing best-practices and lessons learned, we can move forward together when it comes to implementing and adopting EdTech in the Netherlands.
Under the Npuls Pilot Hub EdTech, we conducted interviews with eight education professionals in vocational education and training schools, universities of applied sciences and research universities in the Netherlands. We talked about how they approach the implementation process and adoption of EdTech in their educational institution and the key roles students can play in this.
We compiled these best-practices and listed key lessons learned about support for lecturers and how to get students involved. In this way, we learn from each other and move closer to a Dutch national EdTech ecosystem that contributes to the quality of education, the labour market and society.
If you have suggestions and valuable insights on the implementation and adoption of EdTech in your institution, please let us know at EdTech@npuls.nl! We would love to share your story with the EdTech Community.
