With a national awareness-raising campaign, we want to start a movement to make educational professionals in secondary and higher education aware of the existence of OERs. We help institutions and ambassadors to put OERs on the map.

In practice

We find that many educational professionals do not know exactly what OERs are, what they can be used for and why they should be used. We also see resistance among teachers; it takes time, is complex, and often it is unclear whether it is allowed, because there is often no policy yet. Yet, as an education sector, we strive to make education more accessible and public money well spent.

Developing an awareness campaign

Some institutions are already taking steps to communicate about OERs, for example through workshops, lunch sessions, (digital) posters or podcasts. But there is no structural campaign yet. Npuls has therefore developed a national awareness campaign in cooperation with education professionals from the institutions, to be used by every institution in further education. A campaign through which we efficiently inspire teachers and education professionals to use or create OERs.

GO OPEN kit

Start GO OPEN at your institution and put OERs on the map. The impact will only grow if more people join in. We offer institutions and ambassadors a GO OPEN kit with various campaign materials, including the GO OPEN logo, posters/banners, cards, bookmark, stickers and more. We invite you to download and use these materials.
