Responsible use of AI in education

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly changing how we learn, teach and organise. Tertiary education often lacks coherence, ownership and clear frameworks. In many cases, the role of data remains underexposed. This puts public values under pressure and increases dependence on commercial parties. A sector-wide approach is needed.

It is important to develop knowledge and skills about AI and data in a sustainable way for both students (learners) and education professionals. In this way, we ensure that AI and data contribute to accessible, safe and reliable education.
