eduGenAI is a platform that allows for safe and responsible use of generative AI in the education sector. Through this platform, educational institutions in the Netherlands have access to various commercial or open-source language models (LLMs/generative AI) within a single environment. eduGenAI enables students, teaching staff and other education professionals to learn with and about AI.

Not all institutions have the resources to develop these solutions independently, which means that collaboration is essential.
Collaboration reduces costs but also ensures that a wider range of offerings is available in one place.
By developing these solutions ourselves, we remain independent of vendors and retain control over our own data.
By developing these solutions as a sector, they are aligned with institutions' values, needs and ambitions.
You can register through your institution’s linking team. They will be your first point of contact.
The linking team sends an email to edugenai@npuls.nl on behalf of your institution.
Npuls sends the pilot agreement, supplementary documentation and all practical information about taking part in the pilot to the linking team.
An authorised signatory at your institution then signs the pilot agreement.
The linking team sends the signed agreement to Npuls. From then on, your participation in the pilot is official.
As soon as Npuls receives the agreement, access for your institution’s admins will be activated. The admins will receive all the necessary admin management information.
The admins then adds those users in the institution who have registered. After that, you can get started with EduGenAI straight away.
