Application for National Growth Fund Digitalisation Boost for Education
On 14 April 2022, on the advice of the National Growth Fund assessment committee, the cabinet allocated €560 million to the Digitalisation Impulse for Education, an application submitted by the MBO Council, the Association of Universities of Applied Sciences, Universities of the Netherlands and SURF. MBO institutions, universities of applied sciences and universities are contributing a further €43 million in kind. This brings the total amount to €603 million.

Samenvatting
The programme brings together all 113 vocational colleges, universities of applied sciences and universities to create a standardised, secure and reliable sectoral ICT infrastructure and a sectoral knowledge infrastructure. Centralised sharing of resources and safeguarding security and privacy ensure faster and more effective working, secure facilities, knowledge about educational innovation, mobility and freedom of choice for learners. In transformation hubs, education, the labour market, society and suppliers work together on current themes and upscaling. Centres for Teaching & Learning ensure the implementation of results in educational institutions.
