OKE Toolbox: Take Control of Digital Assessment (Dutch)

Implementing OKE involves more than establishing a technical connection. Processes, roles, responsibilities, policies, systems and organisational structures also need to work together.
The OKE Game Board guides you step by step through the implementation process. For each phase, it shows what is needed and which topics require attention. The OKE Toolbox complements this with practical tools, examples, templates and documents for each phase.
The process is not always linear. A test or pilot may, for example, require you to adjust a process or take a step back.
Use the Game Board as your roadmap: determine where your institution is in the process and which steps are still needed. Then use the relevant Toolbox resources to move forward.
How the OKE Toolbox worksBefore you begin, identify the key parties involved in the examination process and assess your institution’s current situation. Check the relevant preconditions, such as agreements with suppliers, contracts, knowledge and professional development.
Determine why you want to implement OKE and what you want to achieve. Define the scope, identify stakeholders and set up the project organisation.
You will also consider the business case, required capacity and budget. This forms the basis for the project proposal and further approach.
In this phase, you work out what OKE means for policy, organisation, processes and technology. Using MORA, map the current (IST) and desired (SOLL) examination process. Define roles and responsibilities and determine how systems, policies and OKE connections fit into the process.
Based on this analysis, the project plan and the key risks, a Go/No-Go decision can be made about moving to the next phase.
Now test the design in practice. Carry out end-to-end tests and check whether technology, processes, roles and agreements work well together. This is followed by a pilot in practice.
Use the results of the pilot to refine the working methods and implementation where necessary.
Once the examination process has been sufficiently tested and the organisation is ready, is time for the go-live.
The new way of working becomes part of the regular organisation. Agreements on management, support, roles, responsibilities and aftercare are embedded and transferred to the regular organisation.
